to Submit |
You must submit both a Photoshop file that shows all the layers and a jpg file.
- In the Project 1 Discussion on Blackboard Write an brief report (3 sentences minimum) explaining the meaning of the image, any difficulties you had and what you learned
- Submit the the jpg file as an attachment to your Project 1 discussion on Blackboard
- Submit the Photoshop file as an attachement to Project 1 in Submit Lessons
- In the comments section name which of the items in #9 on the Technical Checklist you completed
(see below)

Naming
file |
Make sure it's an
unflatted photoshop file (layers preserved) and name it (yourlastname_p1.psd, example:
dean_p1.psd). Use the same name for the jpg image. |
Description |
Create a collage
of a past memory from your life. It can be a significant moment, a
trip you took, a gift you're creating for a loved one, a concert you
attended or whatever you like.
Using the examples
in Lessons 3 and 4 as models, create
a collage
of your own that includes one retouched image.

Goal |
The goal is to display
your mastery of selection tools, layer basics, image retouching and creativity.
Your work must include a minimum of the following technical elements
to
get a "C" grade.
To get an "A", you will use each of these elements effectively
and beyond the minimum. Also your selection edges need to be very clean. |
