Education
B.A. Mathematics, Rosary College
M.A. Mathematics, University of Illinois
M.S. Computers in Education, National University
Background
I grew up in a small city in the midwest. I worked as a swimming instructor, a waitress, a postal worker and a camp counselor to pay for my undergraduate education. I was very lucky to receive a fellowship that paid for my graduate education at the University of Illinois. I moved to San Diego in 1973 because my future husband's job was here. Another lucky break for me. I have been teaching at Grossmont since then.
Interests
I have been the president of the Academic Senate at Grossmont College and the chair of the Mathematics Department.
