Last Saturday Sutton ended a rough season for the Griffins with an all-star
performance. Sutton completed 22 of 32 pass attempts for 357 yards and 6
touchdowns against Mt. San Jacinto. Sutton was named the Pacific Coast
Conference player of the week along with Southwestern’s Drew Westling.
The Griffins finish up the season (5-5), good enough for third place in the
Foothill Conference.
Chris Daniels: 5’8" 170 lb. Freshman, Running Back
Two weeks ago Daniels showed the dominating running game that everybody knew
he was capable of. Becoming just the fifth Griffin to break the 200-yard rushing
barrier, Daniels carried the ball 16 times for 213 yards, including runs of 74
and 51 yards. Daniels superb rushing game helped the Griffins roll over San
Diego Mesa College 66-17.
