are actually hypocrites. Controversy has surrounded this comedy
of manners from its first edition in 1664. Join us in the Stagehouse
Theatre and see why Tartuffe or The Imposter ranks as Moliére’s
comic masterpiece.

The 2008-2009 season ends on a happy note with another Comedy Classic, Charley’s Aunt. Set in Victorian England, an Oxford undergraduate, Charley, sets out to introduce his wealthy aunt from Brazil to his girl friend. The comedy arises when another school chum disguises himself as the aunt just as the real aunt arrives. This world famous farce has moved millions to tears of laughter-be part of the audience for a whale of a good time.
