Small group hands-on workshop will enable you to:
- Identify your transfer priorities
- Learn how to research universities that match your transfer
needs
- Gather information about all the transfer options available
to you
- Develop an educational plan and set your transfer deadline
- Understand the university application process
- Research financial aid and scholarship opportunities

Pre-professional Workshop |
| What you need to know to plan for a career in medicine,
law, dentistry, veterinary sciences, or any other field that
requires an advanced educational degree. |
Workshops will be held every Wednesday, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Questions that will be answered:
1. Why go to medical school or prepare for professional
training?
2. What is Medical School like?
3. What types of medical schools exist?
4. What academic preparation will be required at the
community college?
5. Why is experiential experience (internships/volunteer
positions) important?
6. What should you to do after your transfer to the
university?
7. What determines whether you will be admitted to
professional school?Call the University Transfer

Transfer Center, room 100-A. The availability of these
appointments are limited. Students interested in
seeing the UCSD representative must bring copies of any
course work from other colleges that are not on file with
Grossmont's Admissions and Records office. To make an
appointment visit the University Transfer Center or call
