WebCT Resources

In order to use WebCT with your class two things need to occur. First, you must have the course set up by Jerry Williamson. Second, you must get your roster loaded into your course.

Step #1

• Attend a WebCT workshop to have a WebCT ID set up for you. Remember the WebCT ID (username) and password that you selected are case sensitive.

Step #2

• Email your WebCT ID, course name and number to jerry.williamson@gcccd.net and he will set up your course with this information. Now you can login to your course using your WebCT ID (username) and password at the url http://webct.gcccd.net:8910. Click on "Log On".

Step #3

• Email Laith Shammas with the section numbers for the classes that you will be using WebCT. Once these classes are uploaded into the Global Database, they are ready to be assigned to your course. For details on this procedure read The WebCT Global Database for Smart People.
